Announcement for Shareholders

The Board of Balamara Resources thanks Ample Skill for requesting the conversion of all the outstanding convertible bonds at the forthcoming shareholders meeting.

Balamara Executive Chairman Derek Lenartowicz  said ‘Balamara has benefitted greatly over the past years through the strong support of its major shareholder. The removal of the outstanding liabilities from the Balamara balance sheet will assist with the debt funding for the company’s transition to the construction phase at Nowa Ruda.

The Balamara Board is very supportive of the resolutions at the shareholders meeting and would like to encourage shareholders to also support the resolutions and to forward their proxy forms by email.

Balamara lodges application for mining licence at Nowa Ruda.

Balamara Resources Ltd. through its wholly owned subsidiary Coal Holding Sp z o o has now lodged it’s application for the licence to mine coking coal at Nowa Ruda. This is the final step in the administrative process allowing Balamara to proceed with the extraction of hard coking coal suitable for the production of foundry coke required by European industry. The current strong demand for this commodity is reflected in its high market price. The adjacent coking plants currently import missing ranks for blending from Australia and the USA to supply this market. ‘We are particularly pleased by the governments acceptance of our application which involved providing evidence of our financing through to production’ – said Derek Lenartowicz Executive Chairman of Balamara. We have enjoyed great support from the local community, their elected representatives, the Church and the Trade Union leadership and Balamara will work closely with all stakeholders to reward their faith in us. We expect to commence construction in the first half of 2019 with first coal in late 2020’ – he said.
